J21Media Update On Business

Just a quick update as to what J21Media has been getting up to over the last few months in their seo and web site design projects. It has been quite exciting over the last few months with a few new Internet developments in the search engine optimisation market with the release of Panda 2.0 and Google Plus social network website.

As a good seo consultant these new developments on the search engines mean that we have to alter and change our strategy at times and what we are seeing is that social media is becoming much more popular with search engines and therefore it makes sense that they are going to become a greater ranking factor in the future. We will be looking at developing a more robust social media strategy for our website and also for our clients websites as well.

It has been busy times for J21Media recently with us securing a number of new contracts which includes a dogs and puppies shelter that are looking to rank for a range of search terms around the Wiltshire area. One term that we are particularly focusing on for them is the search term 'dogs and puppies Wiltshire' which has reasonable competition but with the link building strategy we have in place we are very confident of a Page 1 Position 3 ranking within a few months.

Also J21Media is looking to develop their own website rankings more effectively and this means that we are going to be looking at search results for affordable seo services and also affordable web design. These 2 keywords are totally different and should generate us some good traffic once Page 1 is achieved.

We have also started working with a very exciting project called Powerflex Train which is a brand new sports protein and energy drink range that has recently been brought to market. What makes this unique is that it is specifically designed for martial arts, boxing, kick boxing and other contact sports due to the energy it gives and also the ingredients that help joints and flexibility.

On top of this we have recently taken on another great project called Tile Link who specialize in retailing travertine tiles, limestone tiles, marble tiles and ceramic tiles to customers all over the UK. The project is going to be very interesting and we had a bit of long winded start due to some on site issues but now we are ready to get this site ranking very well for the targeted keywords.

A really exciting account that we have taken on is for Damp Shop Direct who are an online retail company that specialises in selling to the builders market and they specialize in great product ranges such as access panels, loft ladders, cavity trays, cavity closers and many more.

SEO Marketing Firm And Do You Need One

So you launched your brand new expensive website, but you are not getting any customers.  As an SEO Marketing Firm we can suggest that there is probably one of two reasons for this;

1. Your website or products are not appealing.

2. Nobody is visiting your website.

If your problem is number 1, you need to re think your website and online strategy, and I’m afraid this article isn’t going to be of significant help.  If your problem is number two, you may require the assistance of an SEO Marketing Firm.

Firstly you need to establish how many people are visiting your website on a monthly basis.  To do this, we would suggest you use a product called ‘Google Analytics’.  The system is 100% free, and to install you simply insert a small snippet of code onto your website.  From then on you can see monthly statistics about how many people have visited your website, where they came from, how long they stayed and which pages they visited.

Using Google Analytics will arm you with the information you need to make an informed decision about your website’s performance, and is a system used by countless SEO Marketing Firms every day.

So what if your visitor counts are very low after doing all of the above?  Then you need to undertake a program of search engine optimisation, either yourself, or by contracting and SEO Marketing Firm.

An SEO programmer will help to drive your website to page 1 of search results, ensuring that it has greater exposure to people searching for products or services related to your business.  It is estimated that position one on Google will take around 40% of traffic for any search phrase, and beyond page 1 you are going to get very little traffic.

Hopefully this article has been of use to those of you who may need an SEO Marketing Firm.  It was written by David Hamer from MakeUsAWebsite, cheap web design and SEO provider.

Carpet Cleaning - Interesting target market

J21Media has been working on quite a number of new markets for seo over the past few months however one that is very interesting is the carpet cleaning market specifically covering the Essex area of the UK. The principle is the same no matter where in the UK you are targeting however you do find some areas much easier to optimise for. So for example it would be much easier to rank for a town than for a city with most seo terms.

The particular company that we are looking at is a company called Stainbusters who are based out of Essex and they want their website to rank for the relevant keywords in the Essex area. So they are looking to rank for terms such as carpet cleaners Essex, carpet cleaning Essex, upholstery cleaners Essex and so on.

The competition in the carpet cleaning market is actually very high which was a bit of a surprise however when you think about it everyone has carpets and in many respects its probably much cheaper to hire a professional carpet cleaner to come in and clean your old carpets rather than buy brand new carpets.

Essex is a competitive area for many businesses online as it is a large area of the UK and so as a result there are many carpet cleaning companies trying to rank in the Essex area. What will be needed is a good amount of quality anchor text backlinks pointing to this domain and then we should start to see some positive movements in the SERPS for the keywords.

We will keep you posted on our progress with this project and how we do in this new carpet cleaning Essex market as it is a new challenge for us.

Remote Controlled Cars Project

Recently we have been working on a new project that is around drop shipping and the main aim is to establish a new website and rank competitively for well searched for keywords. We have identified the remote control market as a good market that has decent competition however is not too competitive that it would take years to rank for.

Our company website is Just Remote Controlled and the main keyword that we are circulating for is going to be remote controlled cars, rc cars, cheap rc cars, rc planes and also remote controlled planes. We are already currently ranking on Google all within the top 20 pages for all the above keywords which is truly a great start to this project.

We are hoping that within 3 months we can have a Page 1 position for all the above keywords which should then generate us some decent traffic. From this traffic we are hoping to get a decent conversion rate as all products that we sell are with free UK shipping which hopefully will entice people into purchasing with us. We still have another 5000 products to get uploaded on to our website but to do this we need to get a live feed authorised from our supplier.

As a drop shipper this means that we do not have to stock any product buts simply achieve a good marketing solution to generate orders and then we will receive a percentage of all orders through our site. Remote controlled cars is a very popular product and it is also a product that should remain popular throughout the foreseeable years. The remote controlled cars market is one that we have specifically targeted due to the good prices people will pay for quality rc products.

J21Media : This Weeks Update!

I seem to update this blog normally on a Friday afternoon which often means that the posts have a somewhat relaxed feeling about them because after all, who isn't happy on Friday?

Business is going well and we are seeing some decent results for most of our clients except a few unexpected curve balls that have been thrown the last few days. What is really cool is the long tail keywords that we are going after for a few of our clients which we hope will get some really nice targeted traffic in for them and get them a few more conversions than they have been having.

Also we have just had the Royal Wedding that stretched over 2 bank holidays and to add to this we had beautiful weather in the UK for these times. This had an effect on quite a few online businesses that we are doing seo for and looking at the stats it is very interesting to see how sales and traffic drop when the weather is better. Makes sense though - people prefer to be outside when its nice in the UK!

We have 2 new clients that we will be doing some nice seo work for over the next few months. The first is mobile DJ called Neil Freeman and he is going after the key term mobile dj swindon and also mobile disco oxford which to be honest should be quite easy to lock down.

Another account is The Tog Store which is a Bristol based business that specialises in the retailing of sailing clothes, sailing equipment, skiing gear, riding clothes and most other outdoor sports. This will be a really good account however it is a very competitive market so we will need to pull out all the stops to get some quick results.

Well that's about everything this week from an seo point of view and so I will be having a good chill out this weekend and also should be watching the Manny Pacquiao fight on Saturday night where he should have another great victory under his belt!

Chilli Farm - Very Interesting

Well this is just going to be a quick post since it is Friday and 6pm but I thought I would just write a quick bit about one of my new clients who is extremely interesting. In fact I didn't even think that we had any of these types of businesses in the UK but that's the great thing with SEO - you work with a lot of different businesses all the time.

The business I am talking about is a company called Upton Cheyney Chilli Farm who specialise in making their very own chilli sauces, chilli jam, hot chillies and they also hold their very own chilli festival at their farm every summer which to be honest I would love to attend.

At the moment we are ranking quite well for the terms chilli sauce and chilli jam however I have a few good ideas up my sleeve for next month which will put us hopefully on Page 1 Google UK for the two main key terms.

This is a very nice company to work with and to be honest it is a nice product to work with as well because it is so different from the other projects I have worked on over the years. Anyways it is time to leave it at that for this week!

Guest Blogging Is Still A Good Link Building Method

I have been reading a few articles of people suggesting that link building via guest posts and guest blogging on other peoples blogs is not a good method of link building and I must say that I think this is totally incorrect.

What I have noticed is that nearly every method of link building comes under fire at some point which could lead a person to believe that all methods of link building don't work, which of course is nonsense. I guess this is the exciting thing about SEO in the fact that you can literally make your own mind up and then create a strategy that you think will work most effectively.

Anyway back to guest blogging, I have been doing quite a bit this month and I am very happy with the results. I know that I am writing a 100% original piece of content and so the blog owner will be happy. Also I am getting either myself or one of my clients a nice anchor text backlink to their website which is a always helpful. The good thing about this method of link building is it is totally organic and it allows you to get links from websites where you would not normally be able to get them from.

I do believe that guest blogging is going to be one of the few link building methods to never stop working unless Google seriously changes the way they rank sites which might happen in time but not in the near future.

On another note I have taken on a new client called 4 Pets Store which is really cool and one of the main keywords I am looking to rank for is dog beds uk, which should be on page 1 by the end of the month. Hopefully then we can start moving the site into some more competitive terms such as just dog beds as this is where the real traffic is.
