Remote Controlled Cars Project

Recently we have been working on a new project that is around drop shipping and the main aim is to establish a new website and rank competitively for well searched for keywords. We have identified the remote control market as a good market that has decent competition however is not too competitive that it would take years to rank for.

Our company website is Just Remote Controlled and the main keyword that we are circulating for is going to be remote controlled cars, rc cars, cheap rc cars, rc planes and also remote controlled planes. We are already currently ranking on Google all within the top 20 pages for all the above keywords which is truly a great start to this project.

We are hoping that within 3 months we can have a Page 1 position for all the above keywords which should then generate us some decent traffic. From this traffic we are hoping to get a decent conversion rate as all products that we sell are with free UK shipping which hopefully will entice people into purchasing with us. We still have another 5000 products to get uploaded on to our website but to do this we need to get a live feed authorised from our supplier.

As a drop shipper this means that we do not have to stock any product buts simply achieve a good marketing solution to generate orders and then we will receive a percentage of all orders through our site. Remote controlled cars is a very popular product and it is also a product that should remain popular throughout the foreseeable years. The remote controlled cars market is one that we have specifically targeted due to the good prices people will pay for quality rc products.

J21Media : This Weeks Update!

I seem to update this blog normally on a Friday afternoon which often means that the posts have a somewhat relaxed feeling about them because after all, who isn't happy on Friday?

Business is going well and we are seeing some decent results for most of our clients except a few unexpected curve balls that have been thrown the last few days. What is really cool is the long tail keywords that we are going after for a few of our clients which we hope will get some really nice targeted traffic in for them and get them a few more conversions than they have been having.

Also we have just had the Royal Wedding that stretched over 2 bank holidays and to add to this we had beautiful weather in the UK for these times. This had an effect on quite a few online businesses that we are doing seo for and looking at the stats it is very interesting to see how sales and traffic drop when the weather is better. Makes sense though - people prefer to be outside when its nice in the UK!

We have 2 new clients that we will be doing some nice seo work for over the next few months. The first is mobile DJ called Neil Freeman and he is going after the key term mobile dj swindon and also mobile disco oxford which to be honest should be quite easy to lock down.

Another account is The Tog Store which is a Bristol based business that specialises in the retailing of sailing clothes, sailing equipment, skiing gear, riding clothes and most other outdoor sports. This will be a really good account however it is a very competitive market so we will need to pull out all the stops to get some quick results.

Well that's about everything this week from an seo point of view and so I will be having a good chill out this weekend and also should be watching the Manny Pacquiao fight on Saturday night where he should have another great victory under his belt!
